The split that spread! (2019) Dimensions variable. Polyurethane resin/foam, agar jelly, iron oxide, flask clamps, mini projector, animation on loop, bio-epoxy resin, concrete, snowcrete, mild steel. The remnants of a split, caused by a water leak from under an embankment, has made its way to 1307 Argyle Street. Scanned one year apart, these works are based on two images of one inoculated petri dish at different points in its decomposition. The initial sample was sourced from what is likely a bacterial and/or algae biofilm formation found near the Forth and Clyde canal.
